… so blogging was put on hold.
Quick run down of the last 60 hours :
- Husband on call all week-end.
- Weekly errands all over town Saturday morning.
- Came back to a leak in our living room ceiling.
- Husband removing the snow and ice from the roof as company was arriving.
- Dinner with friends Saturday night while juggling calls from the claims department of our insurance company.
- Sunday morning brunch with my parents.
- Mom an dad kid-free outing to the Urban agricultural and seed swap fest at the local University!
- Home Depot for materials to build my new sewing table.
- Putting together part of my new sewing table. (Pictures to come!)
- Mall for more errands.
- More phone calls for the ceiling damage.
- Teething baby.
- Dentist with preschooler.
- Dad juggling working at the office and working from home to give me access to our car…
Wow… Yeah… I’m exhausted now.
But that is okay… cause there is always someone here to remind me that all you can do in times like this is smile!

I’ll be back tomorrow I promise, until then, Good Night everyone!

About Yanic A.
Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by!
My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself.
I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.
Wow!!! Happy you have that precious little reminder 🙂

You survived! And you still seem in pretty good humour. Hope you have a good week! By the way, is it me or does your little girl look very much like you?? Super-mignonne!

LOL! Yeah, she’s pretty much a mini-me… Except she has her paternal grammie’s hair (curly and strawberry blond) and her dad’s hazel eyes and ears… But yeah… my mom says she’s a spitting image of me when I was a kid. 🙂
