{ This moment }

{ This moment } – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

 If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by SouleMama.

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

      Exactly… she was screaming CATCH ME to her dad that was pushing our son’s stroller while he was laughing hysterically. I wish I would have been able to catch it all, but my lens wouldn’t allow me.

      Happy I could make you smile… always my aim! 🙂

      Have a wonderful week-end!

    This moment is so wonderful! I just love this tunnel – I can remember playing in just such a magical place when I was a child. She’ll have those memories for the rest of her life. Beautiful.

    Here’s my moment, some fresh peaches and cream. Another memory from when I was a child! http://notintentonarriving.blogspot.com/2014/06/this-moment_27.html

      Thank you! She’s almost 4 and she’s been running through that tunnel since she could walk. And she remembers… she remembers feeding the birds in her hands in winter she remembers being pulled in her sleigh. Isn’t creating memories for our kids the best job in the world?

      On my way to your space now. Thank you so much for stopping by! xo

      Human made nature always fascinates me. We can never replicate nature, but sometimes our blunders make for pretty amazing things!

      We truly are! And right in the city like that. Our city isn’t perfect, but green spaces is one thing they do really well.
