My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Oh, how my girls would love to have chickens in the backyard! One year we will make that request come true!

Those are not our chickens… they are the chickens of the sweet people we buy our eggs from… For NOW! We have a 2 year plan for getting our own. Next summer will be about building the coop/green house combo and then, come the following spring, after we’ve tested heat and insulation for a whole winter (kind of a dry run), then we will get our own little group. The kids will be older, they will be able to help take care of them. It will be grand!
