{ This moment } – Last one!

{ This moment } – A Friday ritual. A single photo –  a few words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by SouleMama.

Hello all! Just wanted to say this will be my last “This Moment” post. I love picture projects and have enjoyed sharing my moments with you all year. But for 2015, I’ve decided to join Jodi from Practicing Simplicity for The 52 project / Her & Him Edition (in my case). I will keep checking all your moments out through Amanda’s space and wish you all nothing but the happiest ones. Hopefully you’ll take a few minutes to come and see how my babies are growing throughout the year.

It has been a pleasure getting to know you through these lovely little peeks into your days.

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

I posted my “last one” last week. My life is so different from most of the Moments that I’ve had a hard time finding a way to fit in. I’ve started a new project on Tuesdays and will write on Fridays. I’m looking forward to your 52 Project(s)!

what a sweet picture. Yes I’m also joining up on the photo project. Good luck to you. I’m somewhat forgetful, lets see what happens.

  7. I look foreword to seeing your new project unfold in the coming year! I’ve been contemplating the possibility of joining the 52 project for 2015 as well, but I’m feeling a bit intimidated by that level of commitment.

Wishing you the best of luck and a very Happy New Year!

I won’t lie, it’s a bit intimidating for me too. But it will be a wonderful mindfulness exercises. Taking the pulse of the day and capturing my thoughts, feelings and observations… what a wonderful meditation indeed. 🙂

Happy new years to you as well! xo
