Little Miss
: The final stand, showing the world that none of this broken-bone business will keep you down. I heard so much “mom, I got my cast wet again” this week that I’ve stopped counting. You’ve been so good for so long, how could I get upset? I’m so proud of how you handled yourself through the last 4 weeks my baby. A real champion! ❤

Little Man : Everything about you breathes joy my love. When you don’t smile, I know something is up. And once again, water is your best friend. You just cannot get enough of it. Everything about your sweet disposition and personality makes me smile. I look at you and my heart is full. You are my angel. ❤

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

Aw, your little man looks so happy. Water and kids go hand in hand, although not so good for your little miss right now. I bet she can’t wait to get in the water.

    Have a wonderful week Yanic.

Oh yes! We’ve asked her what she wanted to do on Wednesday to celebrate her freedom and she said “picnic and playing at the city wading pool” LOL! I’m hoping her arm isn’t too “soft” and she doesn’t get too tentative about it. I know she’ll have to be careful at first.

Thank you, you as well! xox

  4. Beautiful! I can tell I have some catching up to do, seeing as how I have no idea where that cast came from 😉 I’ll have to keep reading!

Haha! Don’t look to hard, it was nothing very exciting : stumbling on her own toes while running. 🙂 She’s growing too fast, her limbs can’t quite catch up. 🙂

The humidity has been making her curls so perky. It pains me to have to comb them out sometimes. I will say it, I think I’m more anxious for her to be free of that thing than she is. 🙂 And yes, that is a summertime lovin’ bébé!

  7. Just give children water and warm weather and let the endless party begin. I missed the story, if you wrote it at all, what happened to your girl’s arm? Though pink cast looks good on her. Brings out her eyes 😉

It’ll be off by now, hurray! And I expect she’ll appreciate the freedom of not wearing it all the more for the time she’s had to put up with it, water will never have been sweeter! And talking of sweet – your little man! He makes my heart fill up, so goodness knows what he does to yours!

Oh she has been in water 50% of all waken hours ever since. And it,s been nice and warm too so wading pools, kiddie pools, water games, puddles, you name it! That first morning, coming back from the hospital, she asked for a bubble bath and stayed in for almost 45 minutes. It was adorable… And yes, who can not feel engulfed in joy looking at that little face?
