Little Miss : “Happy New Year!” and a happy one it will be. We had white holidays, something we were not expecting, and spent lots of time with family and friends, but now 2016 awaits with all its adventures, challenges, new experiences and you will take them all on with a smile I’m sure. You are a ray of sun… I love you so much  ❤

Little Man : A new year begins my love and I can’t wait to watch you grow and learn. You already seem so much bigger than you were when I started this project just 1 year ago. We have a lot of great times ahead of us my love. but also some hard work and less fun moments as well. But we will navigate them all together. There is nothing they can throw at us that we can’t face. I love you fiercely and know you are my angel. ❤

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

Oh, I hope you can find some time. Especially with 2 little ones, it’s nice to stop and ponder… reflect on special times that are just about them. I love going back and reading what I said when. 🙂

I do have winter babies… I mean, they love every season, but winter barely makes a dent in their attitude, mood or energy. Even the time change and the darkness does little to dampen their spirits. I’m a lucky mama. 🙂
