Revolutions X 4…

And here we go for number 5.

Hooray for :

  • Sushi dinners and becoming more agile with chopsticks.
  • Preschool made birthday crowns  wore well into the evening.
  • Candle covered ice cream, while patiently waiting for your special homemade cupcakes on Sunday with your friends and family.
  • For gift bags filled with stickers, crayons, notebooks and sparkles.
  • For new years starting, filled with possibilities, promise and fun!

Happy Birthday my darling baby girl… Not so baby anymore, I know, but part of me will always keep you tucked close to me, like in those first days of life. I watch you grow and you amaze me. I know we butt heads sometimes, but it just means you are growing into such a strong person, filled with your own ideals and beliefs. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

  4. What a wonderful way to celebrate her fourth trip around the sun! May this next one be just delightful! And get ready, mama, cause when she turns five you might just find yourself a wee bit more choked up than you were ready for. There’s just something about when they turn five…..xo

Thank you so much on her behalf.
Oh, I’m gearing up… I think my big “choke up” will arrive a bit before her birthday when she walks into her first classroom. Dear oh dear… I’m really not ready for my baby to go to school! 🙂

Happy Birthday! That chopstick action looks great, and 4 is a wonderful age to be, I’m sure it will be a brilliant year.
