… For renewing our spirit, our hope and for giving us the most glorious Spring week-end!

Wishing you all an amazing week!

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

Isn’t it great! The building I work in faces woods. Friday you could barely see the buds on the trees. This morning, it’s significantly greener.

I also took the opportunity of gorgeous weather to spend all day outside yesterday working on the yard and I planted a whole bunch of stuff. I still have one raised bed to go and that’s going to be all carrots and green beans.

And nothing beats sitting on the porch in the morning drinking your coffee (or other beverage of choice) and just taking it all in.

Amen! Porch living is the life for me. 🙂 We ate just about every meal but breakfast out. My kids get up at 5h30 am so breakfast on the porch would have been quite chilly 🙂

Hope everything grows well and that you have a wonderful week dear Lisa!

We picked flowers (the same ones!) and ran through the sprinkler, too!! What a glorious weekend, right!? Our flowers are finally blooming, trees are putting out buds, and the magnolia tree blooms another flower every hour. Spring is here! Finally!!

It truly is… finally indeed… although no, we have severe storm alerts and our 15 foot trampoline just flew half way across our yard… Crazy weather! That is all I have to say. 😛

Hello! We went back for more coltsfoot as well. We have 2 jars of honey infusing now. We also picked dandelion leaves for an omelet last night. It was delicious. Keep sharing your knowledge my dear, I learn so much from you. xo

Oh, believe me, we are still drinking tea and the windows get shut at night. We have been having 20’C differences between night and day. The moment the sun goes down, you remember that we are only mid Spring! 🙂

      Happy reading. xo

Sometimes it does feel pretty hard to trust Mother Nature, but she’s not too bad usually! What lovely Spring pictures all of a sudden.
