Morning, Noon and Night

*** I usually post this on Sunday nights, but since tomorrow I will be spending most of the day somewhere I cannot take pictures, I’ve decided to share with you our very snowy Saturday! ***

About Yanic A.

Hello to all of you and thank you for stopping by! My name is Yanic. I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother of 2 beautifully complex and unique children and a lover of all things inspiring. Having started a personal journey of self discovery when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago, I've since embraced a daily life of simpler pleasures and gratitude. As we get to know each other, you will know me as a quilter, a gardener, a Tao cultivator, a vegetarian foodie, a true believer in a healthy family life as being the secret to my happiness and hopefully as time goes on, a friend... I will try to share with you my days as they unfold, speaking of my happy successes without censoring my challenges, trying to make this blog a true portrait of the ever-changing path that I have chosen for myself. I'm hoping to find in these pages others to share with and learn from, bringing to light the absolute connection in all things and people, showing this world as being a true community.

  1. Oh this looks like such a great day! A little crafting, a bit of nature time and pizza for dinner…all sounds good to me. Hope you enjoyed it.

Can you do something about all that snow before I head home 🙂

Oh that looks like a wonderful way to spend the day. I know you must be tired of the snow but to me it still looks beautiful.

I am tired of the snow, but at the same time I’m Canadian! So as we were walking through the golf ball size flakes yesterday, I couldn’t help but find it pretty. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice week-end.

Here here! So much snow… It,s almost impossible to imagine that there is green under there. 😛 But spring will come and I’m sure our summer will be a nice one. Usually is after a hard winter.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are enjoying your week-end. 🙂

Looks like a lovely day! We thoroughly enjoyed a few hours at the ‘potager’ where my husband volunteers. The strawberry plants are doing well. Have a lovely week!

I’m in Michigan (virtually Canadian!) and we’re inching ever so slowly towards spring. At least most of the ground is visible now. Although they are predicting a little snow over the next couple of days. (Noooooooo!)

I hope for you that it’s a quick snow and thaw… I’m seeing no hope in sight until next week-end… it should FINALLY be above freezing for a few days. *fingers crossed*

I’ve been reading the Little House series to my son and we finished The Long Winter before our own started and this winter has brought that one to mind. Thankfully we live in a modern world and were never at risk of starving. But it has been one crazy winter! We got a snow day at work, for goodness sake! That’s nearly unheard of.
